IT for Communities
Meath County Council supports Community and Voluntary groups across the county through the use of IT. We currently have a number of active projects in this area and are seeking new avenues for the employment of Information Technology to support the actions and activities of these organisations.
Meath Support Services Directory is the result of a joint initiative between Meath County Council, the Health Service Executive and Meath Citizens Information Service.
A lot of good work is being done around the county in providing support services to the public, but it can be difficult to know where to turn for help or support when most in need.
Meath Support Service Directory hopes to address this problem and raise awareness of the wide range of support available. The directory is now available on the the internet at www.meathsupportservices.ie and on CD. A poster providing contact information for services with a focus on young people has also been produced and distributed to all schools in the county.
