Green Schools Information seminar will take place in the Solstice Arts Centre, Navan on Tuesday 18th October 2011 from 6.30p.m. to 8.30p.m. with the following schedule:
- 6.30p.m to 7.30p.m. – first flag/Litter and Waste
- 7.30p.m. to 8.30p.m. – Energy & Water Flags

Anti-Litter Poster Competition --- Calendar 2012
Meath County Council is organising an Anti -Litter poster competition for all schools in Co. Meath. Posters should be on A4 (landscape) and we will accept up to a maximum of 4 entries per school. The entries can be submitted by individual students, group of students or from a class. The theme is Anti-Litter and the twelve winning entries will be used for a 2012 calendar which will be distributed to all the schools in Co. Meath. There will be 3 categories for this competition---
Junior infants to 2nd Class---4 winners
3rd Class to 6th Class ----4 winners
Secondary School ---- 4 winners
The winning entries will each receive €80.00 with the overall winning poster being awarded an additional €120.00.
Entries to be submitted to Peter Brady, Environmental Awareness Officer, Environment Section, Meath County Council, Railway Street, Navan on or before Friday 28th October 2011.
