Single Dwelling Wastewater Treatment

The EPA Code of Practice Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems serving single houses (PE less than or equal to 10) is the relevant standard against which planning applications for single dwellings are assessed. Relevant planning applications currently before the planning authority will be assessed against this Code of Practice and must meet the standards contained therein.

Applicants should consult with their agents/ site assessor to ascertain if their development proposal includes or requires a site assessment which complies with the Code of Practice.
